I’m so glad that our group was courageous enough to choose to visit indigenous people for our immersion. The three days we spent hiking, farming, and bonding will always be one of my most memorable experiences ever. It was really difficult (physically) and different (culturally), but it was definitely worth it (spiritually and emotionally).
This is such a late post on our immersion, but I do miss everything about that trip. The Aetas, the Koreans, the stories.. even the funky reptiles we had to eat.
